I don't think that there is anyone that could have met and known Elmer that could not have loved him. Every memory that I have of him is one of an incredibly sweet, kind, generous, engaging, loving soul that I delighted in seeing. Elmer was President of the Ivy Chase Homeowners Association in Hoover and I was fortunate to serve as Treasurer during his tenure. He led with a gentle but decisive hand.
