Treasured Memories

Elmer was a very kind and generous friend and co-worker who always had a smile and a good word to say. Never to busy to take time to help others. I will miss him.

Elmer was a friend of mine and I am sorry to hear that he is gone. He was a generous person, kind to people and the natural world around him. He was esteemed for his stories and sense of humor.

He was also a wizard on the racquetball court. I remember him beating me 11 games in a row, hitting drop shots into the corner, off the back wall, along the floor seams...never breaking a sweat, then sipping hot coffee after the game.

I was honored to call Elmer my friend and I admired his personal traits, his honesty, his demeanor, and his value of family. I always enjoyed our conversations, his perspectives and his friendship.

So sorry to hear of Elmer's passing.
My prayers for Janet and the family in this time of grieving. May God bless all of you.

Janet, you are in our thoughts and prayers. Prayers of peace and comfort,
Sonya

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May your many good memories provide comfort.

I'm very sorry to hear of Elmer's passing, He has been missed by so many people here at GVSU. I will miss him very much, he brought joy when
I would see him at GVSU or many other places we happen to meet. The coffee is always on for you Elmer!!!!

With deepest sympathy to you and your family.
