Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolence to the Butcher family, ‘persevere in prayer to the God of all comfort'.
Romans 12:12.

Another one of those unique characters that adds so much to ones life is gone. My heart goes out to his family.
See you later Elmer.

Elmer was an inspiration when a member of the Buckeye Caballeros in the late 70's... Enjoyed his company while onboard as a team and respected his Tutelage when a member of the Drum Corp fantasy...May you Rest In Peace and my sincerest condolences to his family. You will be dearly missed....Leonard Beech.

Our deepest symapathies to the Butcher family, I was in the band with Elmer at Lincoln West, I caught up with him when he was helping Mr. Vig with the Avon Marching band, imagine my surprise when someone called Elmer Butcher, there is only 1 Elmer Butcher, my son Dan was in the band. I am sure he is playing his bari in Gods band now. Our fondest memory was when we blew away the Massillon tiger band at tiger stadium, they had 120 members and we had 70.
R.I.P brother. Glenn,Brenda,Stacy and...

Every time I talk about my time in Drum Corps. I always would tell them about Butcher. You have my and my mothers condolences.

Elmer,
You were the most honest, true-blue, take-me-as-i-am, real, decent person I ever knew. It's been years since I've talked to you, but I know, when we meet again ... it will be as if it were yesterday. Take care my soldier ... HOORAH!!!

Elmer Fudd you will be missed but I take comfort in knowing you're with your creator. I know you're looking down on us from heaven. Say hello to Bill Wilson and Bob Smith for me. Jeremy and josh you are in my prayers.

Junior was a great man and an awesome cousin. I still can hear that unique laugh he had and he was alway smiling. My dearest symphaties go out to his boys, it's never easy losing a loved one especially when it's your father. It's hard enough losing your dad. My son Bret loved Junior and was very moving when Bret saw him for the last time in hospis. Junior I can still vision that special knuckle bumping handshake that you guys did when we parted. Junior please tell my aunt Elsie Mae and...
