Not sure what to say?

We loved you, Elmer! You were a son and a brother. You know you were the son of our heart. We thought we would still be sitting around the wood stove when we were old - speaking of many things – life the universe and everything – laughing and singing and listening to James Taylor on the CD player. We are missing you real bad, Elmer! And we are honored that you loved us so well. Many people know how good you were at loving and caring for others. Your death is such a loss to those who...

Elmer was one of my oldest and dearest friends. I had known him since I was a little girl. There are certain people in your life that are just easy to love, and Elmer was one of those people for me. His death has felt like a rip in the very fabric of my life.
It has been a comfort to read this...

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I am truly saddened to hear of the loss of a classmate. Elmer and I went to middle school and high school together. I will never forget his smile and mannerism. May God be with your family during this time.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
