Elmer Lee Friel Sr.

My sincere condolences to the Friel family. I am a very,very, distant acquaintence and short-time friend
of Elmer. He was a wonderful guy, full of optimism and humor, when I knew him.

I met Elmer in our youthful days(literally "ON-The-Bus") while he shared driving the Yuba Jr. College School Bus with Mr. Nordyke, between Arbuckle, Colusa & Marysville 1956-57. (I was born in Colusa)

I'm very glad to hear of Elmer once more, and of his wonderful lifetime...

Please accept our sincere condolences at this time for your recent loss. We shared some great times through the years with Elmer and Ed. We have certainly missed Ed, and know we will also miss Elmer as well.

I only saw Elmer two or three times in the past few years at our class reunions but he was the same Elmer I knew in high school - kind, smiling, good sense of humor, and always ready to have a good time. He and his brother Ed shared those traits.
