Not sure what to say?

We will miss our Uncle Elmer. He was a great patriot who served his country proudly. Our mother Madelon Patton Zakaib was his Sister-in-Law and she loved him dearly. She is also 91 years old. Signed, Charlie, Joe & Robert Zakaib, Nephews.

Thinking of you Charlotte as Elmer is laid to rest. You both have been such wonderful friends through the many years we have been acquainted. May the Lord bless and keep you in the coming days. Trust Him to give you that perfect peace. We love you.
Marilyn and John Tiedemann

Rest in peace. Thank you for your military service.

I appreciate knowing Elmer through my parents, Edie and Marty Muehsam. Although my visits were too infrequent, it was fun sharing a meal with him and his wife. I am glad that when I last saw him, he held my hand while I sang. He always welcomed me. I wish him and his family much love and comfort during this time of transition. Today at Kahbil Gibran museum, three hours away from Beirut, I learned "Humanity is a river of light running from ex-eternity to eternity."
