I worked with Elmer for several years with the Illinois Dept of Veterans Affairs and could not have worked and known anyone better than this man! He was kind, funny, and I never saw him stressed upset or worried about anything. We ate many lunches together but most of all my family became family with him and Nancy.Elmer was a good soul and a great storyteller. He will always be loved and never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

I remember him from my grade school days. He worked with my father (Leonard Bavester) under a few sheriff’s. My father passed in 1967, but I always remember those days. So sorry for your loss.
