I met Elmer when I was fourteen years old. Our teen years were the blue print for "Happy Days". He was one of the guys standing on the corner aka West 130th & Lorain. Our crowd numbered any where from 30 to 50 girls and guys. The people in that group were building platforms for successful lives. We never did foolish things, never disparaged each other, practiced the Catholic faith and were always helped each other. Elmer was a mainstay of those principles.
