Elmer Tot Manning

Elmer (Tot) Manning, age 65 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at UT Medical Center. Tot fought a long and courageous battle with kidney disease and lung cancer. He was a member of Sims Chapel Baptist Church. He was employed by Haywood and Wakefield in Newport for 15 years, and he was also employed by the late Lester Bohanan as a carpenter. His hobbies were fishing and camping. He is going to be missed by all for his humorous personality. He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Ruth Manning, brothers Floyd Ray and L.C. Manning. He is survived by his: Loving wife: Cedith Manning Brothers: Robert Manning and wife Lorene, Delmer Manning and wife JoAnne A niece and several nephews One special dedicated and loving sister: Lillian Gaines Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Kim McCroskey and Rev. Ron Ball officiating. Interment 2 PM Sunday in Sims Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
