I worked in the Oakhurst Dairy office in the early 1960's. I was always impressed with what a fine gentleman Elmer was..very kind and friendly. I makes me smile now to remember that at first I was sure he said his name was Alma! Fortunately, I never addressed him that way. So sorry for your loss of a wonderful man.

Thank GOD for Uncle Elmer and the knowledge he passed on. Can you even image the changes he saw through his life time!! I just hope I can experince 1/2 of the things he did!! I remember when Uncle Elmer & Aunt Vi bought the old school house and made it their home. I was one of the lucky ones to receive a chalkboard from that school. Hours of fun in front of that chalkboard as a child but hours cleaning up the chalk dust also!! My heart goes out to Shelia, Laurie & Wendy, The Baby!! Sorry...
