Elmer Ellsworth "Salty" McAferty

Simply put Salty was my football hero of McLouth football. We'll not have another like him with his talent for football,track and basketball. I remember clearly the Saturdays we listened to KU football at the service station or shot hoops under the tree at the lumberyard. And when he hung up his cleats he became the most loyal fan of McLouth athletic teams. He'll always be fondly remembered.

To the family I love to say how much it means to me that our dad's was the grandmashell this year that is something both family can shrae together
