Dear Mekker family and Dear Marty,

I was so sorry to hear of Elmer's passing. We have enjoyed so many wonderful parties and events in the past with all of you. I will miss him dearly.

I was so looking forward to seeing him at Lori's wedding reception. It will be great, though, to see all of you who will be there.

Love,

To all of the Mekker families,

I remember Elmer from St. Margaret's back in the 40's. I was in the same grade with Frank and Elmer was 2 yrs. ahead of us. I was in Cleveland in Feb of this year and got to spend some time with him. He was a great and good man and will be missed by all.

There will never be another like you Elmer and you will be dearly missed by many. You set an example of what a lifetime should be and how we should live our lives. We love you and miss you so very much. The family is in our prayers - love - Linda & Mike Toth

Dear Marty and Mekker Families

I wish to express my sincere sympathy in the loss of your dearly beloved and father, brother and uncle. I am sorry that I could not attend his funeral and express this in person. He was loved by so many and will truly be missed. He is in Heaven and will be at peace. I hope that God can ease your pain in your tremendous loss.
