Dear Chris, Doug, and Jeff,
I was sad to read about the death of your grandfather and wish I could have made the service to give you all a hug in person. I did not know about your Mom and that really hit me as I don't think we had been in contact since 1991 and things sounded good with her at that time. I still think of the three of you and the hours we spent together when I babysat you kids on Elmview. You kept me busy when you weren't sleeping!! I hope you have all found your way and...

I have fond memories of visiting Mr. & Mrs. Olsen. They were always so nice to the neighborhood kids. Mr. Olsen would show us his trains, doll houses and wood working. I remember them every year when I set up my Christmas decorations. For a wedding gift Mrs. Olsen knit us a beautiful poinsettia afghan. A few years later, Mr. Olsen made me a manger for my ceramic nativity set. He even whittled the fence with branches from his back yard. They both were special people and will be missed.
