Elmer Dwayne Percifield

Percy was a leader's leader. He had a very gentle manner yet was clearly in charge. I enjoyed his guidance and especially his years of friendship. I miss him. His bold honesty and down to earth view of what we are supposed to do in life put me back on the right path many times. He was a remarkable spirit, patriot and sportsman.

Dear Anne:
I will never forget Percy's guidance and wisdom when I was faced with a serious customer problem in my first week as Division Manager in Ventura in 1982. At a time when he could have let me "sink or swim", he became my coach. His passion for serving others is legendary and a shining example for those who came after.
I pray that your sorrow may be assuaged by the memories of his gifts to others while he was among us.
