Not sure what to say?

Dear Tanya, Debbie, Chris and Eric,

We just learned of Elmer's passing. Our thoughts are with you all. All of my Uncles were great, but Uncle Elmer was special. He was always so filled with laughter and kindness (except if you ever trumped his ace in one of the many euchre games!).

It was so clear when around Elmer that he was a loving Husband and a wonderful Father. He will be missed I know.

When my Dad passed four years ago, it was so good to see all of you that...

Eric, Chris, Debbie and Tanya
I was sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I will always have many fond memories of your mother and him. They made me feel like one of the family. Some of the most enjoyable card games I ever had were playing euchre with Elmer, Eric and Pauline's brothers.
May we all live such a long and happy life as your dad.
God Bless.

Tanya, Chris, Debbie and Eric:
I just want to send you my condolences on the loss of your dad. I still can remember those great vacations at Lake Erie (the cabins are still there!). I was young but I have good memories of the Friday fish dinner, swimming, the beach, the arcade, the dance hall and Uncle Elmer snoring!
I know that Uncle Elmer, Aunt Susie and my dad are having so much fun right now, I bet if we listen quietly, we can hear them laughing and talking...loudly!

Elmer was a good ,long time friend to my father,Jim Parkinson ,with whom he worked for many years..I remember him stopping by the house when I was in grade school to see my Dad. ..He was so kind to my sisters and i and so very funny! always took time to talk to us and see how we were all doing.. we are all long grown and our parents are gone, but so many good memories remain..I am sure he and Dad are trading old Seiberling stories and Mom and Pauline are catching up on kids and grandkids..My...

DEAR CHRIS, ERIC & FAMILY: I AM TRUELY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR DEAR FATHER; MY BROTHER, JOHN BODIS, TALKED VERY HIGHLY OF HIM AND JUST THE COUPLE TIMES I MET HIM, IT WAS AN HONOR. PLEASE ACCEPT BOTH JOE AND MY SYMPATHY AND REMEMBER THAT THE MEMORIES ARE A GIFT THAT NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY. LOVINGLY....

Dear Chris and Debbie,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your Father. Our parents are now no longer with us, and it is so very hard without them. Just know they will always be with you in your heart forever. The wonderful memories and good times will help you. My thoughts and prayers to both of you.

Eric, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. We enjoyed meeting your father at Thanksgiving last year. Our Love, Aunt Sandy and George Spak, Steve, Lisa, Stephanie, and Julia Conley

Eric, so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go
through these difficult times.
God Bless

I was greatly saddened to hear of Uncle Elmer's passing. He (as was Aunt Pauline) was a sweet soul who will be greatly missed. Elmer lived and loved life, always had a smile or a laugh. You'd better play euchre well with Elmer or you'd end up at the "Crumbonie Table". Loved summer visits to the Schoch's, where the food, libations, and love flowed freely, and where I first heard the hilarious expression for a hand full of bad cards-- "Bat Crap!" Love you Elmer! God speed.
