Both Lewis and I were so sorry to hear of the death of Uncle Elmer. He was always so special to the Bateman family. When I became part of the family, Uncle Elmer's warmth and good humor always made me feel welcome. He lived a full, enjoyable and productive life--quite a legacy and inspiration for us all.
