To the Shimansky family. You don't know me, but I knew your parents from Belleville. I am the niece of Ann & Rick Rinaldi, cousin of Philip, Lorraine & the late Richard Rinaldi from Continental Ave. I am saddened to read about Elmer's passing. He and Shirley were such wonderful, warm people. Aunt Ann & Uncle Rick loved them like family. They were closer than some families are. When my husband & I moved to Belleville in 1967, it was Elmer who did work in our house to help modernize it. ...
