Not sure what to say?

Al always had a perfect yard, American flag proudly up, and a smile and a howdy for all of us on Pickett Street. If there was a kinder gentlemen in the neighborhood I have yet to meet him. His service to his country and local community is amazing. Can you even imagine how many people that Mr Wynalda touched with Habitat? God Bless you Al and may your family have peace and remember you with a smile.

My Dad was in the Army WW11, told a lot of Stories . Thank,You for your Service , I Salute You Sir ! Sue Willard

You were always a bright spot in my Habitat day when we worked together. Thanks for 4 years of fun and laughter. Cherry tomatoes with a dash of salt for lunch! Every time I see them, I think of you. The work site was always a better place when you were there! I miss you Big Fella. See you soon!!!

Our hearts are sad to hear of Elmer´s passing. Our sympathy to all of Elmer´s family. He will be greatly missed but enjoying family and friends in heaven.

This man gave 18 years of his life three days a week to work by the side of project managers, site, supervisors, Carpenter Club, volunteers, and everyone from college students on up. He gave more than just years.. He gave his heart! when I asked him one t

I have nothing but love for the man Big Al Wynalda. I loved his gruff voice and ways, I love how at home he was on a jobsite, and how much he appreciated a good cup of coffee at the start of the work day. I loved all the talking he didn´t do! He was a man who practiced "the Ministry of Presence". I feel he "ran the race" as St Paul referenced, and that he "fought the good fight". It was an honor to know him, and to work alongside him.

Uncle Al was a legendary Job Foreman for Johnson Construction for many years. We called him UNC and I always enjoyed working with him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Gary & Chari Johnson

Thank you for your service Sir

I painted as a subcontractor for Johnson Construction for many of those 44 years and have lots of wonderful memories of "Big Al". He was a blessing to know and to work with. And now he´s home with loving Savior and Lord. Thanks be to God!!
