I WAS ONE OF HER STUDENTS IN EARLY 40'S. CECIL WAS MY HOME ROOM TEACHER WHEN THEY MET. I AM IN ASSISTED LIVING AT CALAROGA SR. CENTER. WAS LOOKING FOR A FRIEND THAT PASSED AND LUCKILY CAME ON HER OBIT. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES.

I was a student of Elnora's during grade school and I was also fortunate to do my student teaching under her guidance at Hauton Lee Middle School in 1973. I am happy to have had her as not only a mentor but a friend. So, "Go You Chicken Fat Go Away', a song that we use to exercise to at Wilkes Grade School. I will never forget it, and even now on occasion my Sisters and I will be talking about Mrs. Ruef and sing that old song! It is a priceless memory for all of us. My sincerest condolences.

I was Elnora's principal during her tenure as a gym teacher in the Reynolds district.I was fortunate to have her on my staff.She was a fine teacher,and a wonderful person.I regret that I won't be able to attend her services since I will be out of town.My sincerest condolences.
