Not sure what to say?

What joy it would give Miss Bishop to know many of her hard-taught lessons have become skills in the everyday lives of her many students. It brings me joy just to remember some of our successes and failures way back in 1964-65.

Have many great memories of Miss Bishop as a teacher. After High School I went to Beauty School and Had the privilege of her being my customer till she retired and moved to FL. I still use some of the recipies, she gave me and some of the cookbooks I recived as gifts. She was a special lady.

How well I remember all the good times we had in our Home Ec. classes at Chippewa Local (Doylestown) High School! The fun of cooking, the frustrations of learning to sew a straight seam...and even learning to "remodel" the kitchens in the Home Ec. room. I remember the summer home visits for our Home Ec. projects when Miss Bishop inspected my first try at Interior Decorating and making draperies! I know she took pity on me and gave me an A if for nothing else, for the effort!
I am...

After 37 years, I still use what she taught me.She touched a lot of lives.

I enjoyed being in Miss Bishop's Home Ec classes. I still love to cook and bake! Saddened to read of her passing. Sherry (Daniel) Wells

Me and my sisters have very fond memories of Miss Bishop we all had her as Home Ec. teacher at Chippewa High School.

Miss Bishop was a wonderful teacher at Doylestown High School.

Thank you Miss Bishop for teaching me that even though I couldnt sew I had many other redeaming qualities! I will remember you always .Christine Starcher
