We will missed Ms. Eloise Greenfield's presence and her many contributions to her community and she wanted black voices to be heard in children's literature. She went on to publish almost 50 children’s books, including prose, poetry, and biographies. That love and sense of self she gave to Black kids of all ages will live through...

I am going to familiarize myself with the works of MS. Greenfield. My heart goes out to her family and friends. May Jehovah comfort them in their grief.

She was a wonderful children's book author. I was honored to know her. I think I loved and probably read all her books. I especially loved "Childtimes" because I grew up in Langston Terrace (NE Washington) too.
