Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the family. Growing up in Hanover in the 50s and 60s who didn’t know Ellie?

My parents were friends of Bill and Ellie and I went all through the Hanover school system with Dennie from kindergarten @ Penn Street through 12th grade at Hanover Senior High.

I never saw Ellie in a bad mood, not matter how bad she might have been feeling, she was always upbeat and happy to see everyone, those she did not know she would know by the time they left her store or...

Dear Billie, Kim, Dennie, and Wyn, and family,

How can you best describe "Ells", as my parents, John & Pat, would say. Thank God Bill stopped John for speeding as Justice of the Peace. And life with Ellie as a kid began.

Ellie was so dear to me, a 2nd Mother growing up. She was the first to notice my spirit at 2 when she nicknamed me "Dynamite".

She drove us to York for swim club, even in snow and ice, always bringing treats for us ravished kids allowing me...

Dear Kim and Naill family:

The word 'Joy' comes to mind when I think of Ellie. It was a joy to know her, it was a joy to be around her.

Very few people in this world know how to spread joy & she was one of the rare ones!

From decorting my first house with her Calico to trying to make her 5 strands of hair to look like 10 ;-) There always was joy in that smile of hers.

I feel privileged to be among those that knew her...

Wynn, Billie, Kim and Dennie, I am so sorry for your loss. I can only hope that now Spic, Lois, Ellie and Bill are all having a good time together again. I remember many of the good times that they had, and we had with them. I miss my parents every day, and know how tough it will be for you all. They loved life, and lived theirs to the fullest. Ellie was a special person and touched so many people in many special ways. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Naill family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom will be greatly missed for all of the things she did for the people of the community.

Showers & Whisler Families

Dear Family,

It was our great pleasure knowing Ellie through the store, The Rusty Naill. We saw firsthand how she loved her family, the Hanover community, and just everyone she came in contact with. She was a very uniquely talented lady, loving the "art" of handmade. We know the struggles that she went through, but she continued to "Smile" that big smile anyway. Please know you, her family, are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
