Eloise Robles Obituary
Born on March 10, 1956 in Lampasas, Texas to Trinidad and Maria Marez, Eloise was one of 13 children. Growing up in a large family she learned the values of hard work and loyalty early in life. She cherished her siblings deeply and built lifelong friendships that she carried throughout her adult years.
In 1973, Eloise met the love of her life, Gilbert Robles, and together they began a beautiful journey rooted in faith and love. They were happily married for 46 years. Together they shared six children and created a home filled with warmth, laughter and devotion. She made each person who entered their home feel welcomed and was known to serve delicious homemade meals which she "cooked with love". She opened up her heart to many and accepted and loved others as her own family.
Eloise dedicated 32 years to early childhood education at WBCO, where her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds touched countless lives. Her gentle guidance and unwavering belief in the potential of every child left an enduring legacy in the hearts of her students and colleagues.
Eloise will be remembered as a woman of remarkable strength, courage, and steadfast Catholic faith. Her walk with our Savior included being involved in ACTS retreats and she found joy with her Bible journaling group, Faithful Flamingos. Her diagnosis did not hold her back from embracing every opportunity she had to travel near and far and found peace with her feet in the oceanside sand. She faced every challenge in life with grace and confidence, serving as an inspiration to her extended family and all who were blessed to know her.
Eloise's memory will forever live on in the love of her children Mario (LueAnn) Robles of Alvarado, Nick (Theresa) Robles of Burnet, Stephanie Robles of Burnet, Trina (Josh) Howell of Burnet, Nene Robles of Burnet, Elaine (Gabriel) Reyna of Lubbock, fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as the many lives she influenced through her kindness, wisdom and faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Robles, grandson, Julius Robles and great-granddaughter Ella Faulkenberry.
