Not sure what to say?

Eloise was a special part of our neighborhood. We have lived here, near her for 26 years, always appreciating running in to her, during our daily walks. She seemed to enjoy our Great Dane dogs (a couple of them over the years). For the last few years, it was the dog that always sparked her memory of who I was. Perhaps the favorite family memory of Eloise was the time she was part of a fun surprise for my husband. She (she and I arranged this) phoned our house one evening, asking my...

Larry, my sister and I saw your mom at Babs Wilson's memorial a couple of years ago. I was so pleased to see her and enjoyed reconnecting with her. I was amazed that she even remembered me! She was a wonderful woman. My condolences to you and your siblings. Sue Ritz Williams

i will always treasure the special moments i had with your wonderful mother throughout her many years of oil painting. she was truly a delight and my life is much richer for having had the honor of knowing her. may our special memories of her keep us and guide us.

I only recently met Eloise with my hospice dog, Monty - but it was apparent she was a lovely, bright woman, who was brave to the end.

Larry, Harriet, Don and Bruce,
Eloise was such a gentle, funny and generous friend, not to mention a really smart one. I'll never forget the poem she wrote ME on HER 90th birthday! What a gem of a lady.

I unfortunately didn't spend enough with her over the years, but as her great niece I was always amazed by how much spunk and energy she had at an older age. May she rest in peace and as we say in Hebrew, "baruch dayan emet."

Always gracious and generous to the community and her many friends. Sister Marion has been my best friend for ever and always spoke so highly of her only sister and best friend Elosie. She will be sorely missed.

Dear Larry: Your mother was always so kind, friendly and candid with me. I really admired her. You are so lucky to have had her thru your life. Remember those precious times.
Your friend, Ralph Bunch
