Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed playing (and talking about music) with Lonnie when we played together in "Seven Foot Four" (which evolved from "Five Foot Three" along with John Malloy and the late Chuck Davidshofer) and later in Dr. Corn's Bluegrass Remedy (with JIm Seafeldt, Greg Clarke, and Stew Dodge). We enjoyed playing "disc jockey" for each other - selecting tunes that we thought the other person would like, and we were mostly correct in our assumptions. I miss Lonnie, and I'm sure lots of others do...

I knew Lonnie back in the 70s when we were roommates in Mill Valley. Great Guy, solid player and very smart. I never played in a band w/ him, however, 'cause we were both bassists. When he moved to Then Mission around '76 I'd visit him often and we'd enjoy treats and play Scrabble for hours. Happy Trails to you... 'till we meet again, my friend!

I just heard Lonnie's name on the Radio, during an interview with an old member of High Country. I decided to do an online search, which sadly brought me here. Lonnie and I met when we worked at the Rincon Annex in SF. He sold me a guitar for 5 bucks (worth every penny)and gave me lessons. After we left the post office he was often a guest in my home. A lovely man.

Habonim Camp in Saugus, Ca. Lonnie taught me so many songs and to love folk music. Who remembers Sat. nights on the moadon roof? Singing singing singing! Thanks,Lonnie. RIP. Frankie

As a couple, I was his first girl/friend and he was my first boy/friend at 13/14.
We went to school together so ate lunch with David, Lonnie, and me on a daily basis for 3 years. Went to camp together for 3 years and the on to Workshop '59. We remained on a weekly call list until '62 and then we both slacked. I knew him to be honest, caring, and sweet. He never knew the impact he had on others. I wish I had known how ill he was so I could have seen him at least one more time!!!

Lonnie was my first boyfriend and I was his first girlfriend! I wish I would have known of his passing sooner than this. He never knew the impact he had on others. I'm glad he had his music; it was memorable!!! Cory, how lucky you were!!!

Fond memories of Lonnie as a young person in habonim. Lost touch. Tried to reconnect on Facebook only to learn that he had died. Feeling sad.

I knew Lonnie in our young teens, and were chaverim (comrades/friends) in Habonim Labor Zionist Youth organization. I went on Workshop to Israel in 1957, and Lonnie followed in 1959. We subsequently spent time together listening and learning at the Ash Grove club in L.A. In late 1966 I moved in with Lonnie to a small cottage on a hillside in the Silverlake area. I moved a couple of years later, and we lost contact. He was talented musically and had a gift for understanding electronics. I ran...

When I heard about Lonnie, it brought a flood of memories.
