Elsa Freed Cantor

"Elsa was a kind, giving and artistic person who felt a deep responsibility to help people. During her life, she helped many, many people, including as a long-time volunteer on a crisis hotline. I got to know Elsa well when I rented a room in her home in the early 1980s. My wife, who like Elsa graduated from the Tyler School of Art, had the pleasure to meet her several times at Quadrangle, and felt as I did that Elsa had a special spirit. Our deepest condolences to her family."

I have great memories of Elsa. She was a good friend to my mom, and gave me some terrific baby presents when my kids were born.
