Elsa is an inspiration to family and friends. She left a legacy of public service and community connection which will continue to produce benefits for the common good for generations to come.

I am so grateful that I had the chance to get to know Elsa, my distant cousin. She was filled with a gracious spirit, a deep sympathy to those who suffer and a wonderful commitment to those she loved. I know where she is now and who she's with, and grateful to God for her being there.

Elsa was an extremely well educated woman who wore her learning very lightly. She had the gift of being warm and welcoming to all, yet fully capable of exercising the reserve and discretion which must have been essential to a diplomatic couple in foreign service. Her whole life seems to have been spent in the service of others. Yet such was her modesty that the scope of her charitable activities surprises even those who thought they knew her well. To the Kormann Family, Your loss, our loss, is truly Heaven's gain. Your Mom defined the words Class, Elegance and Grace.She gave so much to all of us in this life. The beautiful song she wrote "Ode to the Brave" will hopefully be sung at our Scion Reunions for many,many years to come.
