I am so grateful that I had the chance to get to know Elsa, my distant cousin. She was filled with a gracious spirit, a deep sympathy to those who suffer and a wonderful commitment to those she loved. I know where she is now and who she's with, and grateful to God for her being there.

Elsa was an extremely well educated woman who wore her learning very lightly. She had the gift of being warm and welcoming to all, yet fully capable of exercising the reserve and discretion which must have been essential to a diplomatic couple in foreign service. To the Kormann Family, Your loss, our loss, is truly Heaven's gain. Your Mom defined the words Class, Elegance and Grace.She gave so much to all of us in this life. The beautiful song she wrote "Ode to the Brave" will hopefully be sung at our Scion Reunions for many,many years to come.
