Not sure what to say?

My first introduction to Elsa was at the Charity Fair Horse Show. I always ran up to the arena when I knew she was in a driving class. I will never forget her night class, with her sparkling dress, and the carriage all lit up. Elsa was one of my visions that I hoped for myself, enjoying life with my horses and competing in the driving shows. She will be dearly missed, sitting ringside, giving me the smile and thumbs up when passing by.

I knew Elsa through the Driving Shows in Lakeside, She always had a twinkle in her eye and a wonderful "lets have fun with our horses" attitude. She proved to everyone that you don't have to be a youngster to show since young is a state of mind.

On he American Driving Society, someone described her as the perfect image of a lady in every sense of the word, and that is so true.

And she didn't care what equines we were driving. Enjoying the drive was the important...

Elsa was a kind and generous soul and will be truly missed. Her support and participation in horse related activities was indicative of only a portion of her love for her animals. A long and eventful life that touched and was appreciated by many!

Elsa was one of those people who seemed to inspire each and every person who met her. I only had the pleasure of spending time with her on a few occasions, but that was plenty of time to see what an amazing woman she was. We should all follow her example of how to truly appreciate the life we are given and make the most of every day. She will be missed but her memory and amazing spirit will continue to inspire us all!

Mikky was a very special lady and friend to the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Her accomplishments, sense of humor and legacy will long be with us.

I was honored to have known Elsa through my work at Helen Woodward Animal Center. She was a wonderful animal lover with an inspirational spirit and enthusiasm for life. She was strong, independent, and a whole lot of fun. I know she is with all her beloved past companions now, from dogs to horses she loved them all.
