I met her through her son, Davis, who I worked with at the time. Delightful woman. She and David have passed since then, but I remember them fondly. R.I.P.

Elsa was tireless in her efforts to shape the world the way she wanted it to be. It didn't always work out the way she hoped it would, but she would double down and keep at it. I loved her tenacity.

Chris, Jean......Elsa was one of the rocks of our childhood. Steadfastly present at all our events and significant moments. Wish we could turn back the clock.

Chris -- So sorry to read of your mom's passing. She was always very nice to me and I remember, years after high school, being surprised that I didn't know how actively she had supported environmental causes. She is someone who will be missed.

Mrs. Mutrux would put her sweetest piano music into play in the lobby of one of her last residence. I was very fortunate to experience both this and her tenacity when it came to continually keeping herself fit. She was, and still is, a fantastic inspiration. I'm sadden by her departure from this world but I am confidant that she would want me to cheer up and keep going forward. She always had a smile. Thank you Mrs. Mutrux.

Elsa was my cousin, my second cousin, my father, Charles R. Gottschalk, grew up with the 12 Mutrux, in Europe. I kept in touch with Elsa, and we would tell stories about our families.

What a terrific lady your mother was! We shared so much during the McCarthy campaign and afterwards. She was the unsinkable Molly Brown.

We will remember her many years of support of MCE, and the concern for the environment she held dear. Mrs. Mutrux's life in support of community is an example to follow.
