Elsa Frantz Wells

I had Mrs Wells in the sixth grade at Ainsworth. She was tough and I knew not to play any games! I did try hard in her class making a Roman architectural clay replica of the Forum. I appreciated her and am glad to see that she was very active at St Andrews. May she indeed be blessed in heaven and prayers for her family!

Elsa was a beloved Ainsworth teacher, a favorite of two of my sons. We discovered that her husband had been a friend of my husband at Yale, whee Bob was known as Carl. We had a dinner together to share memories. Another similarity: My husband, James Clarke, endured a 20 year mental decline, as apparently Elsa did too. Hard for everyone.

Elsa was our sunshine in the house. Her beautiful smile and warmth of her presence will be truly missed. We will really going to miss Elsa! She lived her life in our house the way she saw life: she loved to walk, she loved to sing and making rhythm together, she could play games and make puzzles with so much joy, she loved sunshine and nature, even when we shook hands or hugged, she was genuinely grateful for our special time together. We will remember her forever!! Casa Shattuck will alway...

Elsa was delightful, and will be greatly missed by Sally Hart and Family.
