Elsie Ann Colonna, 89, died Friday, July 15, 2011. She was born June 10, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Palizano) Butera in Brooklyn, NY. She married the late Dr. Anthony R. Colonna in 1949.
She is survived by her children, Frank Colonna and wife Rebecca of Raleigh, and Barbara Lyke and husband Bill of Cary; grandchildren, Danielle Lyke, William Lyke, Catherine Colonna, and Matthew Colonna. She is predeceased by her brothers, Henry J. Butera, Daniel G. Butera, and Charles J. Butera.
Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery in New York.
