ELSIE "LOLLIE" COOLEY

We are sorry for the loss of Lollie Cooley. We knew Lollie through the Westlake-Westshore Arts Council. She was most impressive with her sensitivity to needs of the individual and was willing to spend time talking. She was also supportive of new ideas being presented to the Council, reflecting a willingness for change and growth, and professionalism.

She and Roger were also supportive of interesting and exciting program development for the W-WAC.

My condolences to all the Cooley family at this time of great sorrow. I am guessing I am one of the few remaining to remember your lovely mother in her youth as I was in the Class of 1950 Dover High with her. My name was Patricia Ross. Seeing this picture of Auntie Lollie, the auntie title being one of honor, really hit a emotional chord with me. Having had the Cooley's be part of my life since I was a baby was indeed an honor. Rarely a week went by when at least one of the Wang family was with a Cooley. The family vacations we took together were some of my fondest memories.
