Elsie passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Elsie was a resident of Cranston, Rhode Island at the time of passing. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Dr. Domenic R. DiLuglio Scholarship Fund at the Community College of RI, c/o CCRI Foundation, Office of Institutional Advancement, 1762 Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI 02865.
Elsie and her lovely parents were longtime friends and neighbors on Taft Street in Cranston. I always enjoyed her stories about the neighborhood before I moved here. A wonderful way to learn the history of the area from a long time resident. I certainly missed our telephone conversations when she needed to relocate to Saint Elizabeth's. My sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your aunt.

My husband Norm and I worked over 30 years at F M Global ( Allendale Ins ). Early in my career, Elsie was my Supervisor. She always made time to talk and explain in her quiet way. As our jobs changed , we always kept in touch. With her good sense of humor she would tease Norm about taking her for a ride on his motorcycle. We became good friends and I called her " Vickies Soup Lady " . Elsie was a kind soul. May she rest in the Hands of Our Lord.
