HOCKADAY, Elsie B., 81, of Henrico, went home to be with the Lord April 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Keith W. Hockaday. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Harold E. Hockaday Sr.; children, Natricia Richardson (Murley), Portia Jones (Ronald), Harold Jr. and Gerard Hockaday; two grandchildren, Rashad and Rashida Hockaday; three sisters, Mary Lee, Nora Hampton (Ray) and Joyce Bradby (Robert); four brothers, Harold, James, Thomas and Ernest Cotman; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 30 at Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman St. Rev. Roscoe D. Natricia, sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. The loss of a mother is probably one of the saddest events in one's life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I pray that your faith will be your strenght. Ms. Elsie's legacy will live on in you,your sister and brothers. Peace and Blessing to you and your family.
