Elsie Pace was my Husband John's Grandamother. I when I say Grand, I do in deed mean Grand! After all she has seven Great Grand children. I actually met Elsie at an Acquistapace family gathering in Hollister many years before I met my now Husband John. See Elsie's sister Rose was an Acquistapace. The two sisters spent much time together. Murry and Rose treated her kindly from what I could see. Elsie would go to Green Valley and stay a week or two with her sister !! Wow! Elsie was my mother-in-law. I will never forget her for she was the true embodiment of what being a Christian is. She was always positive, kind hearted and loved her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Elsie loved people. She was very outgoing. Her family gave her a very lovely service on June 13, complete with music that would thrill her soul, including a flute solo by her eldest great granddaughter and a professional string quartet. Many people had lovely things to say and...

We remember fondly the concerts Susan sang at the Barrett Avenue Christian Church and I know that each one was for Elsie's pleasure. I am sure she enjoyed them immensely.
