Aunt Elsie was my husband's Great Aunt and we both loved her. We weren't home when Betty called and just got her message yesterday evening. We were so sad to learn she passed away. It was like we still had part of Grandma Mary around while she was still here. She was pretty amazing, she lived by herself & still cooked for herself everyday. We were looking forward to our trip to Arkansas together, don't know why we didn't think about doing it sooner! We will miss seeing and visiting with Aunt...

I remember the time Ms. Elsie was upset because Annual Conference did not open with “And Are We Yet Alive” as it usually did. I suggested that she go tell the bishop about it. I think she did because the next session….. we were all singing “And Are We Yet Alive”. Ms. Elsie is still alive in so many ways. A beautiful woman.
