Not sure what to say?

Had a lot of interaction with Elsie and her family, went to school with her kids at St. Joseph's. Ski was my best friend at the time and we went to movies, games, and I spent the night at their house on Washington St. in Portland many times. She was always very nice to me and the last time I saw her was at my father's funeral almost 20 years ago. Sorry to hear of her passing, and the years just fly by. My condolences to all the family.

Just want the entire family to know that I, for one, considered Elsie to be one of the kindest, sweetest and just plain wonderful woman I ever met in my entire life. I played duplicate bridge against Elsie back in the day when when we were all on our way to earning Life Master status. What a terrific human being! I'm certain that all those who knew her would agree with me and I seriously doubt that Elsie had an enemy anywhere. She was the best!

As a young teacher in the mid 1970s, I appreciated positive, supportive parents like Elsie White. Her son, Scott, was a good, well-behaved student and her support as a classroom parent was very much appreciated. Sounds like she was loved by many others in her later years!

Elsie was JOY- Jesus Over You! Now she is JOY x infinity in the middle of the Father´s heart. I love you dear Elsie! -If I had a point out to someone who is a beautiful Catholic I would point to Elsie "JOY" White!

My Elsie was so sweet and I will miss her smile the most; she always smiled. I will see her again in heaven, until then sweet memories of my beautiful Aunt Elsie.

Elsie will be missed. She welcomed my husband and me when we joined St Joseph in 2002.

My mom, Ketty Gattman, and Elsie were best friends for many years. They identified as being "like sisters", so I thought of her as an aunt. :) They were both very devout Catholics and active members of the Altar Guild at St. Joseph Church. Elsie exuded peace and tranquility so she was a positive person to be around. She was a holy lady who truly enriched the lives of those around her. She is in Heaven now, reunited with her beloved husband Kenny and with my mom and dad.
