Not sure what to say?

Elsie was a beloved volunteer at the Grand Rapids Public Museum for 25 years! She was happy, friendly, funny and kind. Elsie was a gift to the institution and more importantly, her community, and she is missed. We are grateful for her time spent with us.

My mother and dear friend and travel companion, Artisha, was blessed to know and love Elsie. I know she shared many years of tears and laughter with my mother. Thank you for sharing her with our family. Our sincere sympathy and rosaries are with you all Artisha & Kevin O´Rourke, Tony & Scott & Tammy Makarewicz and families

Elsie and her friends attended Northview Senior Citizens programs and brought joy, laughter and friendliness to everything they attended! What a blessing she was to our program!

I had the privilege of working with Elsie at Old Kent Bank Computer Center in 1982. She was a marvelous leader, manager and was always concerned for those she managed. My condolences to the entire family. A great loss to all who knew her.

Elsie was always gracious to myself and my mother, Emily Rosendall. She often invited us and our other friends who attended daily and Saturday Masses, to her home. She was always interested in people, enjoyed visiting, and helping others as part of the "Church Ladies". She had a beautiful speaking voice when she did the readings at Mass. I remember her as a kind and faithful friend.

My first "real job"...working for Elsie back in 1981 at OKB. Always smiling and such fun! She constantly talked about Ben and her children...although I never met them, I feel as if I know them. My deepest sympathies to Elsie´s family...she lived a great life and will be missed! Curtis Ballast

Such fond memories of Aunt Elsie. Loved her jokes and friendly demeanor and stories of her children. She will be missed. We wish the family our deepest condolences. Love Jane Burrows and Annette Yob
