In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Elsie was a very beautiful women. I never had the chance to know her as well as my mother and my son Justin did; but from what I have heard about her she was wonderful. Justin would tell me about the times she would take him and James to swimming lessons and then they would get lunch. My mother would always rush me off the phone when I was talking to her and say "I have to go, Elsie is saving me a seat at Bingo"! Although I didn't know her as well as I would have liked to, her memory lives on...

To all of my cousins, and Uncle Donald;

I am sorry on the loss of your mom. I know my mom is probably having a great time with Auntie Elsie.
Our only "comfort" we can have is knowing that they are still keeping their eyes on us!!

I will be thinking of you all

Mom will be missed by so many, It was nice to see that so many have been blessed with her loving touch. Now I will patiently wait for my time to join her once again, but I'm comforted to know I can take Mom with me where ever I may go. and I would like to thank every one that has offered there support at such a hard time.
