Thank you all for your heartfelt messages. My mother had a strength in her I hope I can find in myself when I reach for her and keep remembering she is gone. But she will continue to live on through her family and her friends that may not have seen her often but kept her close in their hearts. We will miss you.

I was so saddened to see my friend had passed. I was able to catch up with Elva during her visits to Kaweah Delta. She and I spoke abut our families. She was so proud of Tonya and of Valerie. Our lives have been enriched because of her. Rest in peace, my friend.
