Not sure what to say?

Elva was such a wonderful caring and loving person, her beautiful smile lit up the room, we loved talking to Elva, we are so glad we both had the chance to get to know her. We will miss her! GOD bless and comfort her family

It was indeed a pleasure to be in the same high school class as Elva - MHS 1946
I knew then that she would accomplish great things.
My sincere condolences to her family.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at 10:00 am at Wesleyan's "Russel House" - Washington and High Streets.

I remember Elva as a somewhat rare combination of being very smart and a very good athlete. She rightly deserved being valedictorian of our class of 1946 at MHS. She was quite modest about her accomplishments. At our 50th reunion I made a remark to her about how smart I thought she was to get such good grades. She responded that she thought it was a matter of working harder at studies than intelligence. I admired her, and offer my sympathy to her family on their loss.

I graduateed with Elva in the 1946 class from Middletown High School. A lovely and intelligent individual and always knew Elva would make it to the top.
May she rest in peace.
