Mr. Kidd was a giant. He loved giving to other. I met Mr. Kidd in 1971 and has been a friend ever since. He has always kept in touch even after his move to Dover. I loved Mr. Kidd He was like a father to me. I will miss him.

Mr. Kidd was a sweet man.. He lived in the same building as my mom.. I enjoyed talking to him..I will miss him.

R. I. P. uncle Elvin. I remember the first time I met you. It was 1968. You and aunt Wilma had bought one of those shiny new Buick skylarks. It was red with a black vinyl roof. Y'all drove down to the Deep South on vacation to visit us in St. Elmo AL. It was the first time we met our cousins Leona,phyliss,and Vicent. That night y'all made a cloths line in the front yard and draped a white sheet over it and you got out your slide projector and showed us family pictures of the family in...

I clearly remember the first time I met Elvin Kidd Sr. He had a pronounced presence not only in his appearance, but also in his charismatic presentations. I was instantly drawn to his visions of life and his participation in the journey. He shared his experiences as a soldier in World War II.
