My fondest memories were of Vira, Louis, Lola and Joe as they always had 'patience' and a smile for my sisters and I . . . my mom always had us kids walk to the store for EVERYTHING ! I am very sorry for your loss. My grandparents (Arthur and Lena Riley) lived in the neighborhood and shopped almost exclusively at the store. I visited them on weekends and would come by to pick up comics, candy or ice cream and Bonomini's was THE place. Everyone was so friendly.

Lou was pallbearer at my grandparents funeral. That is still how highly I regard them. They are special people who made the neighborhood and entire community special. Their spirits are in heaven. Of that I...
