Sincere condolences to your entire family from mine . . . I grew up on Dakota St., making daily trips to your families grocery store. My fondest memories were of Vira, Louis, Lola and Joe as they always had 'patience' and a smile for my sisters and I . . . my mom always had us kids walk to the store for EVERYTHING ! Sally just reminded me of how Joe would often patiently slice .10cents worth of Salami for her. To this day, Sally is still hooked on dry salami! The respect, kindness, patience...

I am very sorry for your loss. My grandparents (Arthur and Lena Riley) lived in the neighborhood and shopped almost exclusively at the store. I visited them on weekends and would come by to pick up comics, candy or ice cream and Bonomini's was THE place. Everyone was so friendly.

Lou was pallbearer at my grandparents funeral. That is still how highly I regard them. They are special people who made the neighborhood and entire community special. Their spirits are in heaven. Of that I...
