I had the privilege of working with Elvy and getting to know her at MVU many years ago. She was kind, smart, capable... a dedicated community contributor. I respected and valued her.
Dan and I extend our deepest sympathy to the Kidder family.

I first met Ms. Kidder on my paper route in the early 50's and we eventually worked together at MVU for many years. A wonderful pleasant person and outstanding educator and mother.

My memories of Elvy Kidder are as my teacher, in Home Economics at Swanton High School. Throughout the years I have utilized many of her ife lessons that I have will never forget. A wonderful teacher, mentor to many. One of her classroom lessons I will never forget, " a woman's hair is her crowning. glory," always try to look your best, because first impressions are very important. I have followed her advise many times on my life's journey.

It has been a privilege to know Elvy and Wes for 50+ years. Elvy was a true lady, and the backbone of the family. She & Wes were always there for support in times of trouble as the Powells experienced first hand. That tradition has been passed on to the next generation- a family of caring. She was a treasure. Our deepest condolences to the Kidder family. Sincerely, David & Betty Powell
