Am very sad, to learn of Elwood's death. A great high school athletic teammate at NCHS. Could have played pro basketball. Friendly, engaging gent, despite being a huge competitor. Military man. When we were growing up, Joe' was the first redhead I'd known, and he delighted in it! Also, he'd always be quick off the mark in greeting people, and making them feel good.
