Elwood Parry "Doc" Blanchard Jr.

My husband, Jack, admired and felt privileged to work with "Doc" at DuPont. I shared that with Jack. Jack, as you know, is no longer with us. In my 91st year, I have so many good memories of life in Delaware as a DuPonter living in Pennsylvania. "Doc" was a special friend.

My wife Sandi and I send our "Prayers for the Peace that Passeth Understanding" on the passing of Doc Blanchard. He was an exceptional man who helped make DuPont the robust global creation it was and became in the 1970s and 1980s. I met him only briefly and in passing, after my own arrival in DuPont Co Public Affairs / External Affairs in 1977, but his work by then already had created his business legacy. We send our condolences to his family.
