I remember my uncle Elwood as being my favorite uncle he always was smiling when he walked into his home I don't remember him ever being anything but a proud dad and always seemed to be proud of others.I'm glad my mom got to talk to him before she passed she told me they spoke of old times and all the friends they remembered and that made her happy.Best wishes to the family and I know you all are saddened by the loss of a special dad.Gene and I send our deepest sympathy.

We have always felt privileged to be included in Gernady family celebrations. How wonderful to know Woody and his loving family.

The Gernady family, I say that like I feel that we are a part of it. We are saddened by the loss of my Father’s Best Friend and your father, grandfather and great grandfather Woody. However any pain that he had is now gone. He is with Irene and she too was my parents Best Friend. They sure were a hard act to follow. We have so many memories of The Gernady’s.
