Not sure what to say?

Elwyn and June were our first friends in Oregon when we moved here in 1978 - my mother grew up with June. I always found Elwyn to be a delightful, fun man who was a great conversationalist. They shared many of our life events- anniversaries, holidays, children's birthdays, graduations, weddings etc. and I always enjoyed visiting them. Elwyn had great suggestions on any gardening/construction/remodeling process we were thinking about.

Much praise has been given to Mr. Kinney related to his business operations, but little is said about community contributions from a taxpayer viewpoint. My father was a fellow general contractor and before he passed I asked him who were the most honorable people in the construction business. Without hesitation, he said Jim and Elwyn. And he was correct. Elwyn outlived Jim by many years but both were a credit to their profession. They don't seem to make men like this anymore. Honest to their cores and with an abiding passion for...
