Single Memorial Tree

The world has changed in 3 years. I'm unsure we're qualified to say how much for the better or worse, but without a doubt, it would be a much richer and fun place with Elyse. And her memory helps to guide and comfort those of us who knew and loved her. Here's a big hug to Hank. Peace be with you, my friend!

I returned to Elyse's memory page and forgot how young she was when she died. Elyse, we miss you every single day. Still.

My deepest sympathy to Hank, Elyse's family and so many friends. She was my very good friend and neighbor and will be truly missed. She was a joy and a very uplifting person and could always be counted on for a good laugh.

I will never process the news that our Elyse is gone. She was such a joyous, involved, caring, energetic, loving part of everyone’s life who knew her. Even though she had health issues, she never complained, and went about her merry way. She and Hank were the ideal couple, and had such fun together. I send my deep sympathy to the family, which I am a part of, and her many, many caring friends. Wow! Will I miss my dear Elyse!

Grove of 100 Memorial Trees

You sent me these socks from America to my home in Europe. Being separated by both native country and religion you always made ways to connect - both on SoMe and through our mutual love for chocolate and Sara Lee which you generously sent to me. I hope there is plenty of both where you are now - promise to please save me some when I one day will join you. Loved you loads and will always remember you and treausre my socks. Huge kiss (again) from the distance both to you and Hank.

Elyse was a dear friend and associate of many years. Her keen insight, wit, and humor contributed so much richness to my life — as I'm sure is true for everyone who knew and loved her. Her passing at this early age leaves a void that's impossible to fill. My deepest sympathy to Hank and other survivors. May many fond memories of Elyse's smile, laugh, and that ineffable twinkle in her eyes help to buoy you during this difficult time.

The world will have less love and laughter, and a little more chocolate, without my dear friend of 36 years, Elyse Dumach. My heart goes out to Hank and his children for their loss.
