Elzie was born on June 17, 1935 and passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. Elzie was a resident of Baker, Louisiana at the time of passing. He was a graduate of Big Sandy High School and after attending Jr. College in Tyler, Texas, he enlisted in the Army where he served 2 years in the tank division in Korea. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, July 13, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation in Elzie's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
